ImpactLabs Nigeria 2015

Welcome to the second edition of the ImpactLabs Summer Workshop!

ImpactLabs is an initiative launched by students and graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University in 2014. This year, we are joined by the Technology Innovation Labs (TIL) of Bells University of Technology, Ota, Nigeria. We bring varied expertise in engineering design, software, and biomedical engineering. During the 2015 summer camp, the participants will gain hands-on experience combining techniques in software and engineering design into real-life technology in health, agriculture and/or sanitation. These projects are expected to be of immediate impact and relevance to a community in Nigeria.

This year's program is a residential program scheduled to take place August 10-21, 2015 at Bells University, Ota, Ogun State. Last year's program details can be found here

2015 Themes: Health, Sanitation, and Agriculture


  • Resides in Nigeria
  • Currently in an academic level anywhere between S.S 1 (high school) and 300 level (university).
  • All concentrations are welcome.  We encourage applicants with an interest in engineering, computer science, health and business.


  • FREE
  • We will cover accommodations and material costs during the duration of the program. However, we expect students to arrange for transportation to and from Bells University.
